Our mission is to support the employment choices of people with disabilities. Our janitorial division provides a number of rewarding and challenging options for employees in the janitorial and building maintenance field. Whether our staff aspires to be great cleaners, leaders, or carpet and floor care technicians, we work with them to reach their goals. Our dedicated leadership staff works closely with our employees to provide support, training, and quality control in all of our accounts. Our program strives to enhance the lives of Oregonians with disabilities by providing them with competitive wages, medical and dental benefits that include paid vacation leave. Janitorial work is challenging and is a great form of physical exercise which makes it a perfect fit for the Qualified Rehabilitation Program and the community it helps and serves.

The Habilitation Department at TVW values individual work ethic, skills development, and productivity. This is strongly reflected through the on-going training program and methods of skills acquistions offered to people with disabilities. Individuals requiring vocational services through rehabilitation range from all ages, including high school students involved in our school transition program. Developing skills at TVW is a individual-centered process, whereby each participant’s own unique interests and choices are TVW’s utmost priority.
TVW offers paid work, paid technology and skill building training. Some of the newer programs include handmade paper products including greeting cards, hand tags and bookmarks. The handmade paper is constructed from office recycling, which is made into a pulp and embedded with wildflowers seeds.
TVW newest venture is bicycle restoration and repair. TVW clients are being taught mechanics, painting, and other skills that will be valuable when seeking outside employment.
The Vocational Counselors are a strong part of each worker’s support team. Their focus is on the individual’s goals and on providing meaningful and dignified employment to each person. The goals of TVW are for each individual to reach their optimum level of vocational functioning and to obtain and maintain employment in the competitive workforce.
