Josh Bearman

Since 2004, Josh has worked in non-profit organizations with missions focused on providing employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

Josh started his career with TVW in 2009 as a Division Manager of the QRF division. In 2016 he accepted the position as TVW’s Executive Director overseeing its four different departments. He has a strong belief that all individuals should have the opportunity to work and seek out their personal dreams.

In his spare time, Josh enjoys fishing, camping and sci-fi.

Keith Byerly

Keith Byerly has been the Controller at TVW for the past three years.  Like all Managers at TVW Keith wears many hats.  He is also the IT guy, keeping the computers running smoothly for clients and staff.

 Keith’s background includes 8 years serving in the US Navy.  Keith also worked as a Fiscal Manager at Community Action in Washington and Hillsboro, Oregon for over 16 years.

Keith is married and lives in Forest Grove with his wife and 2 kids.  His passion is his ‘Hearse’, which he likes to take out during the Halloween season.

Howard Rice

Howard Rice, Production and Sales Manager, came to TVW in 2010 at the urging of Dan Aberg, TVW’s Executive Director.  Dan knew Howard would be an excellent addition to the TVW staff from his past experience working with him at the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce.

Howard’s sales goals at TVW include helping TVW fulfill its Mission of “Supporting the employment choices of people with disabilities”. 

Howard’s sales experience includes owning Premier Publications and Advertising where he provided contract advertising sales for six Portland Metro area Chambers of Commerce. Howard eventually settled at the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce where he spent 17 years as Membership and Publications Sales Manager. Howard ‘s experience as Executive Director at Open Door Counseling Center in Hillsboro also includes leading a team of HUD certified counselors; where issues such as homelessness, first time home-buying, preventing mortgage foreclosure, and reverse mortgages were dealt with.

Howard works with TVW’s core customers and seeks to locate new customers that need TVW’s packaging and assembly services. Howard is willing to serve in most capacities at TVW from sales, to roof repair, fixing things, making jigs, etc.  If Howard sees a problem, he will fix it. 

 Howard stated that the most rewarding part of his job at TVW is working with companies that want great service at competitive rates while trusting that TVW’s disabled employees will meet their expectations, which ultimately fulfills our mission to employ disabled adults so they can be more self-dependent.

Howard and his wife Linda reside in Cornelius and have four children and 2 grandchildren, with whom they spend a great deal of time. 

Christie Theeler

Christie has been with TVW for over 8 years. She enjoys cooking and crafts and lives in the Hillsboro area.  She says the best part of working at TVW is the "jobseekers(clients)- they really make my job rewarding."

Darrin Boehmer

Habilitation Manager

Darrin Boehmer has worked for TVW for almost 20 years.  Throughout his career at TVW, Darrin has held a variety of different positions based on client needs and opportunities available. Darrin is now the Habilitation Manager at TVW.

Darrin brings a positive outlook and can-do attitude to the TVW staff.  He is always willing to try new things and take on any project with enthusiasm.

Darrin was instrumental in saving a clients life at TVW.  He administrated CPR until the paramedics arrived. 

Darrin resides in Portland with his wife Kay.  They have one daughter.  Darrin’s true love is music, however in the summer months you may find him on the golf course or surfing.

The best part of working for TVW is “Improving the lives of people with disabilities through work, basic skills training and the incorporation of underlying skills to enable one to be successful in both training and community employment.”
